Requirements

✔ a person, with a Master degree. During the term of the contract, the person on the position "Assistant" shall undertake activities for the acquisition of the educational and scientific degree "Doctor". The appointment shall be on a fixed-term contract of up to 4 years.

✔ a person who is a PhD student, who has been dismissed with the right to defend or is in the process of defending his/her thesis. The appointment is made by the Director of the IOHCF-BAS on a fixed-term contract of up to 2 years duration.

✔ a proposal by the Head of the Laboratory and an interview with a committee composed of the Director of the IOHCF-BAS or his/her designated deputy, the Head of the Laboratory and the person's supervisor.

10. Habilitation work - monography, or equivalent number of articles (according to Appendix 1). The equivalent number of articles must be accompanied by a habilitation extended statement of scientific contributions, which is a brief statement in which the candidate describes the place of the research conducted in the relevant scientific field and his/her personal contributions. The habilitation abstract (in Bulgarian and English) should include, but not be limited to, the results of an equivalent number of articles submitted, and contain:
      An introduction that briefly describes the nature of the research problems being investigated and their place among the research of other researchers in this field;
      Main scientific contributions, in which the applicant describes in detail and comprehensively the specific original scientific contributions with which he/she is applying to the competition;
      A bibliography (list of all the candidate's publications) that clearly distinguishes the articles in which the candidate is participating from the candidate's other articles and from the articles of other authors;
    The habilitation statement must also outline the research prospects for the next 3 years.
11. List and copies of the publications participating in the competition as an equivalent number of articles for the habilitation thesis, not repeating those submitted in other competitions for academic posts and degrees.
12. List and copies of the publications participating in the competition by indicator group D (according to Annex 1), which do not repeat those submitted in other competitions for academic posts and degrees.
13. List of citations participating in the competition that have not been submitted in other competitions for academic posts and degrees.
14. List of the applicant's participation in scientific conferences, accompanied by supporting material (if applicable).
15. Information on the applicant's participation in scientific projects.

Requirements

➣ Diploma of Master degree;

➣ to have been dismissed with the right to defense by an order of the Director of IOCCP-BAS, but not more than 5 years after the decision of the SC;

➣ meet the minimum requirements of the IOCCP-BAS specified in Annex 1 of the Regulations for the Acquisition of Scientific Degrees and Academic Positions at the IOCCP-BAS;

➣ has passed the required exams part of the individual plan and has obtained the mandatory minimum number of credits in accordance with the Regulations of the CA and AC at BAS;

➣ to have prepared an abstract containing the aims and objectives, main results, conclusions and contributions of the dissertation, as well as a list and copies of the dissertation publications;

➣ to have prepared a dissertation, which, according to Article 27 of the PPPADRB, must contain a title page, a table of contents, an introduction, an overview of the state of the problem, aims and objectives, a statement and discussion of results, a description of the experimental and/or theoretical methods and approaches, a conclusion - a summary of the results obtained and contributions with a declaration of originality; a bibliography. The dissertation must include, but is not limited to results in scientific publications that have appeared or been accepted for publication, based on which the minimum requirements of the IOCCP-BAS have been reached (Appendix 1, Table 1). The dissertation may include results of collective works. The same publications cannot be included in two or more dissertations, except in cases where the results described in them can be separated by methodological and/or authorial contribution by a separation protocol between the authors.
