The Laboratory of Instrumental Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry is equipped with the following equipment:

• Gas chromatograph Hewlett Packard 6890 GC System Plus/5973 MSD coupled to a mass selective detector with a single quadrupole, with an installed mass spectral library for identification (NIST05, Agilent Essential Oils library) and access to free Internet resources (the "Terpenoid" libraries, etc.);

• Agilent 7820A GC System Plus/5977 B gas chromatograph, coupled with a mass selective detector and a flame ionization detector (donated by the Swiss National Science Foundation). The instrument is equipped with a system for precise separation of the gas flow after the analytical column (post-column splitter), which allows for simultaneous analysis of both detectors, providing the possibility of both identification and quantitative analysis in a single analysis. The instrument is equipped with an automatic sampler HT2800T, with the ability to operate in three different modes – liquid sample introduction, static head-space analysis (HS) and solid-phase microextraction (SPME). A wide range of capillary GC columns with a variety of stationary phases, including chiral phases suitable for enantioselective gas chromatography (ES-GC), are available. Instrument control and data acquisition are performed by Mass Hunter Workstation software. NIST 14 mass spectral libraries, Wiley 7th Mass spectra register and FFNSC3 Flavor and Fragrance GC/MS library are available.

• Agilent 1100 series high-performance liquid chromatograph equipped with a UV-Vis diode array detector (DAD) and an Evaporative Light Scattering Detector (ELSD)
