At a ceremony on 23.05.2023 Dr. Consolato Rosmini from IOCCP - BAS was awarded the prestigious BAS Young Scientists Award "Professor Marin Drinov" in the field of "Nanosciences, new materials and technologies" for his research work.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yordan Georgiev Laboratory Biologically Active Substances - Plovdiv, IOCCF-BAS, was awarded the "Pythagoras" prize for 2023 for a young scientist in the field of natural and engineering sciences. The award is presented annually by the Ministry of Education and Science. The ceremony took place on May 19 at the University of National and World Economy.

On November 18, 2022, in the Heraldic Hall of the Presidency, at a solemn ceremony of entry in the "Golden Book", the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria awarded the inventors with the highest scientific and creative achievements - Prof. DSc. Pavlina Dolashka from IOCCF - BAS and Prof. DSc. Kostadin Kostadinov from IP - BAS.

On the Day of People's Awakeners, Dr. Ivalina Trendafilova was awarded the "Prof. Hristo Balarev" of the Union of Chemists in Bulgaria "Outstanding young scientist in the field of inorganic chemistry". The prize was awarded for her developments in the field of obtaining innovative porous nano-sized silicates and their potential application as carriers in drug-delivery systems to improve the efficiency of administration of biologically active substances of natural origin, as well as to obtain effective catalysts for treatment of waste water and harmful emissions from production processes.

Prof. Vassya Bankova, DSc, corr. member of BAS and Prof. Dr. Milena Popova from the Laboratory "Chemistry of Natural Substances" are among the fifty-two scientists from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, included in the first 2% for the influence of scientists on the development of world science in the past 2021 according to the ranking of Stanford University.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Ivalina Trendafilova from the Laboratory "Organic Reactions on Microporous Materials", IOHTCF-BAS, is a recipient of the National Award "13 Centuries Bulgaria" for young talents in contemporary art and science for 2022.

Chemist Viktoria Ivanova from the Laboratory "Chemistry of Natural Substances", IOHTCF-BAS, was awarded the prize of the National Competition "Outstanding Young Scientist in the Field of Organic Chemistry" named after Academician Ivan Yukhnovski.

Two scientists from the Institute of Organic Chemistry with Centre of Phytochemistry of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences received the "Pythagoras" award for contribution to science of the Ministry of Education and Science. Prof. Margarita Popova was honored in the field of natural and engineering sciences, and the award for established scientist in the field of life sciences and medicine went to Prof. Pavlina Dolashka

Assist. Prof. Dr. Yordan Georgiev from the Laboratory Biologically Active Substances - Plovdiv, IOCCP-BAS was awarded the prize in the competition for young scientists Marin Drinov for achievements in the scientific direction "Biomedicine and quality of life". The award was presented on the occasion of May 24.

The Institute of Organic Chemistry with Centre of Phytochemistry - BAS occupies the third position among the Bulgarian organizations, included in the selection of SCImago (SIR) for the past year. The institute is excellent and has the most pronounced orientation towards applied science in the country.

Our young colleague Georgi Gerginov from the Laboratory "Organic Synthesis and Stereochemistry"completed his master's degree with honors at UCTM - Sofia or which he was awarded at a ceremony held on 10.12.2021 in the hall "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov".

Assist. Prof. Dr. Atanas Kouroutos (lab. OSS) was awarded an award in the national competition "Outstanding Young Scientist in the Field of Organic Chemistry" named after Academician Ivan Yukhnovski..

Assist. Prof. Dr. Ivalina Trendafilova from the Laboratory "ORMM", IOCCP-BAS, was among the six nominated candidates for the "13 Centuries Bulgaria" National Award for supporting young talents in contemporary art and science.

Assist. Prof. Dr Yordan Georgiev from the Laboratory "BAS" , IOCCP-BAS, was among the nominated candidates for the "Pythagoras" award in the "Grand Award for a Young Scientist" category.

IOCCP-BAS was awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science for ustainable development of the capacity to apply for projects under the RP "Horizon 2020". Mrs. Karina Angelieva, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, presented the certificate to Prof. DSc. Svetlana Simova, Director of IOCCP.

Two young scientists from IOCCP-BAS - Dr. Ivalina Trendafilova è Assist. Prof. Dr. Manol Ognyanov, were awarded the Young Scientist Award "Prof. Marin Drinov" at this year's solemn commemoration by BAS of the Day of People's Awakeners - November 1.

The PhD studentsDesislava Gerginova (NMR) and Maria Argirova (SOA) from IOCCP-BAS, were awarded at the PhD forum held August 29-31 in Borovets.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Yordan Georgiev from the Laboratory Biologically Active Substances-Plovdiv, IOCCP-BAS was awarded for his work on the project: ïðîåêò: „Study of the structure and immunomodulatory potential of the water-extractable polysaccharides from the ancient Rhodope endemic Haberlea rhodopensis Friv. (Orpheus flower)“ at a ceremony in the building of the Central Academy of Sciences and Arts.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Neda Anastassova from the Laboratory "Structural Organic Analysis" at IOCCP - BAS was awarded with an award of HTMU in the name of Academician Ivan Yukhnovski. The award is given to "Outstanding Young Scientist in the Field of Organic Chemistry"-2019.

Daniela Klisurova rom the Laboratory "Biologically Active Substances" and Maria Argirova from the Laboratory "Structural Organic Analysis" were awarded at the National Competition "Best Diploma Thesis", organized by the Federation of Scientific and Technical Unions and the Union of Chemists in Bulgaria.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Radostina Ivanova ("ORMM" laboratory) and Assist. Prof. Dr. Yordan Georgiev, Ph.D. ("BAS" laboratory) received a prestigious award from the "Best Publication" doctoral competition organized by the BAS Training Center.
