| Objective of the Summer school |
|
The
objective of the Summer school in Belgrade within the Center for Applied Spectroscopy is to give
advanced students in chemistry practical instructions to conduct
environmental analysis according to the current state of the art. We will
focus on one particular type of samples that can be analyzed using
specific instrumental methods: HPLC with UV detector, HPLC combined with
mass spectrometry detector as well as MS/MS analysis. Within the course
samples of water and fruits will be analyzed for phenols and pesticides
respectively. During the workshop students will get training in sample
preparation, sample clean up, quantification procedures and method
evaluation. In addition, lectures will be given to cover some of the most
important theoretical aspects.
